The Philippine Association of Realty Appraisers (PARA) will finally join the Parade of Colors during the 30th PPC to be held in Berjaya Times Square Hotel, Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia on 28th – 31st March 2021, with the theme – 30th Pan Pacific Congress – Digital Disruption: Digital Economy & Real Estate Industry.
On 28 September 2016, during the 28th Pan Pacific Congress of Real Estate Appraisers, Valuers, and Counselors held at the Kyoto International Conference Center, Kyoto, Japan, PARA’s bid to be reinstated as Sponsoring Member of the PPC was recognized by the Board of Directors of PPC.
The 27th PPC was held on September 21- 24, 2014 at the Orchard Hotel Singapore. It was in this Congress, where this writer signified the intention of PARA to be reinstated as part of the Congress, representing the Philippines. The journey was lonely at first, that became an adventure to look forward to every two (2) years. This would not have been possible without the support of colleagues and friends in the association, Rafael M. Fajardo, Carolina Q. Alvarez, Marie Yvonne P. Apad and Mary Gaw So. It was just sheer determination that brought us to where we are right now.
We might have missed the 29th PPC held in October 8-13, 2018 at the Real Inn Hotel, Tijuana, Mexico because of logistics consideration but we are given another chance to show our full force in the 30th PPC.
