Zonal Valuation Information
Zonal value is the value placed on real estate properties for taxation purposes and it is the basis of our Bureau of Internal Revenue (BIR). The BIR commissioner possesses the authority fix the zonal value schedule under Section 6 (E) of Republic Act No. 8424 or the Tax Reform Act of 1997. The section specifically states that - "SECTION 6. Power of the Commissioner to Make Assessments and Prescribe Additional Requirements for Tax Administration and Enforcement.

Continuing Professional Education/ Continuing Professional Development ( CPE/ CPD ) refers to the inculcation, assimilition and acquisition of knoweldge, skills, profeciency and ethical and moral values, after the initial registration of a professional, and raise and enhance the professional's technical and competence.

As an organization committed to the upliftment of real estate appraisal practice in the country, PARA endeavors to deliver updated and relevant Continuing Professional Development (CPD) programs, engaging PRC accredited lecturers and specialists in different fields related to the practice of the profession. It has also widened the horizon of the local real estate appraisers by participating in conferences within the Pan Pacific and is now an active Valuation Professional Organization (VPO) with the International Valuation Standards Council (IVSC)
